MARVERICK offers various tools for oil and gas operations, so we also have a wide variety of tubular products that are required to complete operations. Below is the short list:
Flow control accessories add to the flexibility of the cased-hole completion design and perform a multitude of tasks, including:
The Plug & Perf methodology uses a Frac plug, which is placed underneath the planned boreholes and usually must be removed after the well drilling is completed. The material used can be; steel / cast, aluminum, composite or soluble.
A Bridge Plug is a downhole tool (consisting primarily of slips, a plug chuck, and a rubber sealing element) that is used underground, meaning it is applied down the hole, where it runs and is placed in the casing to isolate a lower zone while testing, cementing, stimulating, producing or injecting an upper section permanently or temporarily into the wellbore to prevent fluids or gases from reaching the upper zone of the wellbore while working or treating .
Cement retainers are insulation tools placed in the casing or liner that allow treatments to be applied at a lower interval while providing anterior ring insulation.
Anchor Catchers are devices used to anchor the pipe rope to the casing at the desired depth, in order to pull and maintain tension on the pipe rope during the pumping cycle, while trapping and prevents any separate pipes from falling into the well.
The packer forms the basis of the cased-hole completion design. The packer is a sealing device that isolates and contains the fluids and pressures produced within the wellbore to protect the cover and other formations above or below the production zone. This is essential for the basic function of most wells.
Service tools are oil well completion products of various designs. They are designed and manufactured to be recoverable and used multiple times. They are not normally designed to be left permanently in the well.
